On Memorial Day May 30th, the humour of the Caribbean will infiltrate the city of New York. Brooklyn will be transformed into Priceless headquarters as Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean’s leading female comedian, Rachel Price brings her show to the Big Apple.
Set to be hosted at the Tropical Paradise Ballroom - 1367 Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, from 6pm, the show is expected to be a guaranteed sold out affair.
Online, a Facebook event page, created to promote and inform patrons, has already amassed tremendous interest, with most saying they’ve purchased their tickets and can’t wait for the holiday thrill.
Price, whose Priceless Promotions has been kicking up a storm across the Caribbean and internationally for quite some time, brings a very real, unapologetic air to comedy. Her use of practical scenarios, most of which includes herself, friends, corporate entities, politicians and even her daughter, who she fondly refers to as ‘ The Jew,’ for her love of money, have placed Rachel Price at the top of her game.
On May 8th, Trinidad’s Hyatt Hotel played host to the comedian, as she gave mothers a treat, one day prior to the Mother’s Day celebration. Her sexuality coupled with her sleek comedic style gave all in the audience much to laugh about and be intrigued by.
On May 30th, Brooklyn will experience something utterly phenomenal as Priceless roars into town. Tickets for the show are available at almost every Caribbean hotspot, including Foreign Accent Barber Shop, Gloria’s Three, Best Bite, Allan’s Bakery, JW Records, VP Records in Queens and even King’s Roti Shop on Liberty Avenue.
