Trinidad and Tobago's pool of entertainment professionals decreased by one on Friday, October 22nd when news came that 31-year-old Troydon Michael Cruickshank- better known by his entertainment sobriquet, Blazer Dan, had been shot dead.
Conflicting reports surfaced that he'd been shot around 9am while a family member indicated to THE ET-CET-ERA BUZZ that the controversial singer had been gunned down by three armed men around 11am at his Mayers Lane, Chaguanas home.
Blazer Dan was known for a series of hit singles, among them Be Mine Tonight, Wrong Timing and one of his latest hits alongside Maximus Dan, Fayann Lyons and Bunji Garlin- Tell Somebody. In 2010, he wrote a track entitled, Keep Them Talking for promoter Glenroy Watson. The track is currently enjoying good airplay across the nation's airwaves and is expected to rise in the weeks following Blazer's passing.
