H2O Phlo's on The Grind - Three Releases for C2K11

They will never be pushed aside - not with the sound they bring. They're Trinidad and Tobago's ultimate all-male crew of talented and versatile musical artistes. They're H2OPhlo and they've got it down to a science.
Collectively, H2OPhlo aims at maintaining a very high standard of production and this is certainly showing ahead of the island's Greatest Show on Earth. For Jason Seecharan- AKA Fridge, Keston Rosales and Junior Nelson, music could never be seasonal- so with this in mind, the group has unleashed two tracks they know will be on rotation long after carnival is done.

With a general plan to produce music throughout the year, H2OPhlo has over the years done just that. In 2011, the group will contribute three soca styled tracks for Carnival. The first big tune is the Richard Charsu Ahong produced, "Up In Da Party," which was written by both Rosales and Seecharan and has a hot club vibe, complete with an energy that’ll ride well into the summer of 2011 and beyond. "This one's a song with a difference," said Fridge. He's always been vocal on the group's ambition to steer clear of what's ordinary. "
We’re combining the groovy soca with some international vibes," he highlighted, adding that H2OPhlo will continue to bring that element of surprise. "We'll never try to be what we're not- were trendsetters, not followers," affirmed Seecharan.

On the heels of those that release, H2OPhlo's gearing up to blow everyone else out of the water. A power soca track's on the way and that one's called, "Soca Popular"- quite an unconventional title from a group of hard hitting Trinidad and Tobago artistes, who aren’t afraid to push the envelope. Coming out of production house, Da Crib studios and produced specifically by Magic, the track, which will be released next week, was written by Junior Reid and Nigel. This one's highly anticipated as revelers look forward to hearing the faster beats as the season's momentum increases.

H2OPhlo hasn’t stopped there. In its original form, the song "Fun Time," was released in December. The song featured Fridge alongside Tobago's KK. In the remixed version, which has recently been released, Fridge is joined by Rosales and Nelson. The song's melody leaves nothing more to be desired of a Caribbean groovy soca. Complete with flawless production work by Flipo, this one's a must play on the airwaves and even at the clubs. Sexy, rhythmic and really catchy, "Fun Time" is one of those songs you won’t get out of your head long after you've heard it.

There's so much to come from H2OPhlo, this as they continue to work on ensuring the music of T&T is well represented. With un-seasonal music being created within carnival and certainly throughout the year, this is one musical body that’s wasting no time but certainly using their God given talents to take their vibe to the world.
