Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. September 12, 2011---------- Nothing will stand in the way of Saute´ Trinbago 2011. So say organisers who, after days of discussion have agreed that Saute´ has and will continue to be a true celebration of Trinbago culture. Event organisers say Saute´is being held at a time when it is certainly needed, as it will provide an escape for Trinbagonians who may be disheartened by the current climate on the island.

On September 25th, just one day after the country celebrates Republic Day, Saute´ Trinbago will provide a spectacular showcase of not just the sights, sounds and tastes of the multicultural island paradise, but also a prophecy of what lies in wait for the country. Organisers of Saute´ Trinbago are using this event to push for a better Trinbago, saying that it
is only with a unified push, can peace and compassion return to the hearts and minds of T&T nationals. Already a number of sponsors have thrown their support behind the event, among them, Bmobile, Caribbean Airlines, Hilton Trinidad, Heineken, Blue Waters, Chivas, Lucozade,Angostura Cocktails and Flavourite just to name a few.

With planning in full swing, Shelly Ann Hee Chung of LinkMe Limited, the company that is
entrusted with PR and Media for the event, is guaranteeing a truly all-inclusive cultural
experience from 2pm to 9pm on September 25th.  Hee Chung says patrons will get the full
works at this year’s Saute´, especially since adjustments to the schedule have been made in light
of the implemented curfew hours in T&T. “We’ve brought the time forward a bit, which will
allow for patrons to arrive early and enjoy the delightful array of food, the ambience and of
course Machel Montano!,” she said excitedly.

The Road March and Soca Monarch king will be a part of this year’s entertainment lineup, as
will 2011 Chutney Monarch king, Rikki Jai, the reputed Mungal Patasar and the rhythmic Neal
and Massy Steel Orchestra. “It will be an event to break the strains of the past few weeks,
something that families can come out to and truly become engrossed in. It’s just one day after
Republic Day and we believe Trinidad and Tobago must be celebrated for its rich and diverse
culture and the people who make the island what it is- no matter what,” said Hee Chung.

In the past two years, Saute´ Trinbago has set a precedence for being a truly all-encompassing
delivery of T&T’s cultural splendours and while it started off as a showcase of Trinbago’s
tastes, the event has come full circle, delivering to patrons much more than they expect each
year. According to Hee Chung, there’s really no reason anyone should miss this extravagant
celebration – in fact she dares true Trinbagonians to miss it, saying they’ll certainly live to regret such a decision. “ This is about us as a people of varying backgrounds. This is where we’ll all stand proud as Trini’s to show the world that even amid chaos, we’re a united people who love our country. This is where we all have to be on September 25- Saute´Trinbago,” said Hee Chung. With tickets already available at a number of locations including B Mobile flagship stores nationwide, Woodford Café Port-of-Spain and Chaguanas and from committee members, anyone still left with questions are invited to call the Saute´ Trinbago hotline at 74- SAUTE´ (747-2883).

“ There’ll also be a lot of opportunities for people to win tickets on Ebony 104FM and Heartbeat 103.5FM, as the day draws closer,” said an anxious Hee Chung.
