Soca artiste Shurwayne Winchester says he's very excited about this Christmas. It's a special one for him and his family as this year he shares the season with his daughter Simoy who experiences Christmas for the very fist time.
Shurwayne told ET-CET-ERA BUZZ that he may be heading over to Tobago this year where he has his parents and brother to celebrate with also.
Amid the seasonal jubilee the artiste did not forget to mention that he hopes for a crime free season, calling on Trinbagonians to spread joy and love with everyone they come into contact with.
Meanwhile SASS headliner, Nadia Batson says she's a last minute lady, often opting to partake in the late night Christmas Eve baking and cleaning. Laughing, she admitted that she is a sucker for the season and loves everything about it. Pointing out that the population of T&T is a family, whether it is believed or not, Batson said the season is a time for reflection and a chance to start a New Year with love and peace in our hearts.
Both artistes have been enjoying a very good Carnival 2012 prelude however amid the anticipation for carnival, they haven't lost their love and appreciation for Christmas.
