Summertime Partyholic Anthem Courtesy T&T's Therapy

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad W.I.- His journey has been tough but because he knows his time to shine will soon c
ome, Caledonia, Trinidad native Therapy refuses to stop. A third track is set to be unleashed to the masses this week and as if to say, “ there’s no turning back- I’m gonna get this,” Therapy has teamed up with one of T&T and the Caribbean’s most prolific music producers, Darryl Braxton for a true summer sizzler called, Partyholic.

“ It comes in the right time,” he says. In T&T and most of the Caribbean territory, the rainy season doesn’t hinder the holiday atmosphere and despite the frequent showers, it’s still ‘summer’ for most, if not all. With a slick sense of humour, Caribbean queen of comedy, Rachel Price lends her voice to the track, creating a real dynamic level of appeal to it all. According to Therapy, it was just a matter of good timing and negotiations for Price’s involvement on the track. “ I really like Rachel Price,” he said with a chuckle. Therapy’s one of those upcoming artistes who truly has an appreciation for other people who value their craft and work continuously, as he does, to perfect it.

Since his last release a couple months ago, Therapy has been on the grind and has no plans of slowing down. “ It’s all about being everywhere, networking and meeting the people who could be instrumental in the progress of my music,” he said.

Amazingly enough, contacts obtained has opened a door to the international party scene for Therapy as simultaneously with the release of Partyholic in T&T, the track will be offered to the U. S market for consumers to lap up.
On the topic of music and where he plans to take his style, Therapy says, “ I plan to create music that will cross borders. I don’t want to be boxed into any one particular style or genre.”
When it comes to possibilities with other artistes, his passion leads him to say, “ I’ll do anything with anyone, as long as the vibe is there.”

With plans to release even more music for T&T Carnival 2011, Therapy’s direction is set. He’s no where close to where he wants to be or where he believes the almighty has things planned for him to be, and with that in mind he forges forward with confidence and strive to one day get to his true destination.
