Trinidad and Tobago based Holyhouse productions has yet another masterpiece to add to its name, this time th
ough it comes courtesy a pair of young, imaginative and incredibly talented 25-year-olds who call themselves UV.
Style, personality, great fashion sense and a passion to ignite the souls of the people with lyrical outbursts of truth, will undoubtedly propel Jose Mc Neil and Randy Nelson to the top of T&T’s growing music industry- this at a time when ‘local’ is being embraced more than ever before. With the release of their brand new dancehall inspired anthem for both the ladies and their male counterparts to enjoy, UV is earmarked to be the new sensation on T&T’s music scene. “ More Gal,” according to the pair is based on a real- life story shaped by an act perpetrated by a so-called friend to a woman loved by one of the track’s writers. The spicy storyline added to that HolyHouse vibe that only well-known producer, Mr. Spine can offer, is what’s expected to have every teen bubbling, chanting and bobbing their heads to the beat, this August. Fans of Spine’s work can also listen out for the producer himself, lending his vocal intonations to the track.
Based in Central, Trinidad, UV has been striving for success for the past five years and in 2010, success seems imminent. Both dancehall and soca being their genres of choice, the pair is confident that, “More Gal” will climb the local ladder and out toward the islands of the Caribbean where the embrace will be strong. Listen out for “More Gal” on the frequency of your choice and remember this one’s an Ultra Violet (UV) conception. For more on UV, check them out on Facebook or contact them at: uvent@hotmail.com.
