T&T's Millionaire Family Re-Emerges With The ZIP Project

By the end of this week, everyone will be humming, whistling and even skipping to a new beat.
T&T’s Carnival 2010 experience brought to the fore, the entourage of Millionaires who rolled onto the scene chanting to the beat of HolyHouse Productions’ 747 rhythm. Led by the young but well known, John-Michael Alibocus of Millionaire Family Entertainment and Holy House Productions, Mr. Spine- Orlando Octave, Kerry John, Musique and Nessa penetrated the airwaves with their collective offering for the season. On the heels of their dynamic debut as the Millionaire Family, the team of young, passionate superstars are at it again, this time though, with a couple of additional vocalists!
HolyHouse Productions at their side, the six soulful vocalists joined by new Millionaire Family member, Ras Pilot is set to release his track on Mr. Spine’s latest offering to the industry, The ZIP rhythm. Additionally, soloist, Terry Lyons lends her vocal thrust to the rhythm, in a track that Spine assures, the masses will truly enjoy.
Calling this one a crossover sound between reggae and R&B, Spine says the ZIP rhythm and the lyrics that accompany, will engage the young audience like nothing else has in recent times, as it tells a story, and hops from one artiste to another.
“It’s like the R Kelly/ Mr. Biggs scenario,” explained Spine, adding that a video for the story is currently in the making. Two of the tracks on the rhythm are Octave’s, “Hustle” and Makamillion’s, “Daddy Please,” with the other tracks all said to be exactly what’s yearned for by today’s music lovers.
Mr. Spine, the prominent young producer of Holy House productions says Operation “Zip” was designed by his outfit to symbolise the closure of one thing and the beginning of another.
He says, “ It’s basically about moving from one chapter to the next while stepping completely out of the box and leaving what is known as the norm, behind. I think the ZIP project will be refreshing to listeners and viewers of the video that follows, as it’ll showcase the versatility of the artistes. It’ll also show the world the enhanced vision of our local musicians.
The team is hard at work and with HolyHouse Productions throwing out the rhythms, there’s no doubt that the Millionaire Family is heading to the top as one synchronised body of talented vocal enforcers.
