IRON, RIDDIM.... VIBES!!! Shurwayne Drops, " Nobody Badda Dan We"!!!

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. December 8th, 2011--------His ability to make it sound loud, distinct and fit for the road is unbelievable. One music lover on social networking site, Facebook wrote, "But like Shurwayne went away and come back 'awa'... how he music kickin brass so??? #besstune."
It was her immediate comment after Winchester's brand new single, Shorty/ Nobody Badda Dan We, dropped on radio stations on Thursday morning.

Shurwayne's creativity is proving to be stronger than many may have believed in years gone by. Ahead of 2012, he's pushing hard to not just deliver music for the road march or the other competitions. In fact, he's not even talking competition... he's talking entertainment, fun, enjoyment and delivering only the best!

The new track was written by the artiste himself and produced at Platta Studios in Barbados. He said it's his release in the prelude to his power releases and for now, fans and music lovers can sit pretty, knowing that he's given them some of the biggest soca anthems for 2012 so far and there will be others.

In the meantime, his team is working on the completion of two videos for Wining Addiction and Work It. Following the Christmas season, Shurwayne Winchester is guaranteed to be a force to be reckoned and what's amazing is that his momentum hasn't even peaked just yet....

No Pressure Billed to Be Nadia Batson's BIG Groovy Single

Frontline vocalists of SASS Megan Waldrond and Queen SASS, Nadia Batson
Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. November 17, 2011-----------Nadia Batson's not about to miss a beat as the season of revelry in Trinidad and Tobago unfolds. The heightened level of intensity is owed to her strong yearning to give only the best of herself and her band SASS, in C2K12 and beyond.

On the heels of the band's launch last Wednesday, November 9 at Anchorage, Batson on Thursday, November 17 released a single she had been perfecting for weeks. No Pressure was produced by Martian Music and mastered by GBM Productions out of NYC. " This one is for the ladies- We don't want no pressure!", said Batson who wrote the track herself.  Its groove is melodically enticing, soothing on the ear and uncompromising on the waistline's all round agenda. Every woman will love No Pressure, according to Team SASS!

Online, the Buzz has been wild for Nadia Batson. In 2011, she told the media that she was doing everything for the people of Trinidad and Tobago. She'd performed twice at the International Soca Monarch Competition with fellow artistes, Tallpree of Grenada and Patrice Roberts of the HD Family, and even then, a very humble, low-key Batson, told reporters that it wasn't about winning- it was about doing the best that she could.

2012 is proving to however be a different dynamic. In the season ahead, Nadia will prove herself further- being the first bandleader of an all-female soca band out of Trinidad and Tobago. She's on a natural high and her music is proof enough. No Pressure has been released to radio stations across the length and breadth of T&T and overseas. She's hoping that with the help of her loyal supporters, this track- 'her pet track'- will be as huge as recent releases. This is Batson's fourth release for the season. It follows her hits, Whey Yuh Want with Lyrikal, Hard Pong with Raymond Ramnarine and Shiver on the Antilles riddim.

"Shurwayne Winchester's The Man to Make The World Look " Says John Arnold.

P.O.S Trinidad. May 2, 2011--------Musical entertainer Shurwayne Winchester is being raved as one of the persons who will take Soca music to the heights of international fame. The assertion was made on Friday (April 29) by event coordinator in the division of tourism and transportation in Tobago, John Arnold.

Winchester and his band Y.O.U. thrilled audiences on Easter Sunday at the beachfront, Store Bay and again at Signal Hill where an event dubbed Jazz on the Hill was held before a massive gathering of locals and foreigners alike. The Jazz themed showcase featured acts like Oscar B, Sugar Daddy and the Signal Hill Alumni Choir among others, but it was Winchester and Y.O.U. who would leave a lasting impression on Arnold and many others in the crowd. " I have seen Shurwayne perform a million times, but never like this," said Arnold. He explained that Shurwayne was able to prove to many in the crowd that he cannot be labeled, 'just a Soca artiste.' " He's a singer, performer and a real entertainer. He was able to show his versatility as an artiste, and his wide vocal range," said Arnold.
Arnold believes that for T&T's culture and more so, Soca music to gain international recognition, the artistes carrying the torch must not only be able to perform 'wine and jam' tunes, as he called it, " They must have a voice at the end of the day," he said. Vowing to stand in the corner of the Tobago-born artiste, John Arnold said he had high hopes for Shurwayne Winchester who at this year's International Groovy Soca Monarch Competition, chose to draw focus to the bittersweet realities that lie within the twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago when he performed his single, Paradisin.

In the past few weeks, Winchester has been receiving quite a bit of positive recognition. In Jamaica, journalists called him masterful, skillful and commanding following his performance at Bacchanal Fridays in the lead up to the island's Carnival celebration. Online, his connection with fans is sincere and noted by many as the mark of an artiste who exercises true humility even while soaring high.
