No Pressure Billed to Be Nadia Batson's BIG Groovy Single

Frontline vocalists of SASS Megan Waldrond and Queen SASS, Nadia Batson
Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. November 17, 2011-----------Nadia Batson's not about to miss a beat as the season of revelry in Trinidad and Tobago unfolds. The heightened level of intensity is owed to her strong yearning to give only the best of herself and her band SASS, in C2K12 and beyond.

On the heels of the band's launch last Wednesday, November 9 at Anchorage, Batson on Thursday, November 17 released a single she had been perfecting for weeks. No Pressure was produced by Martian Music and mastered by GBM Productions out of NYC. " This one is for the ladies- We don't want no pressure!", said Batson who wrote the track herself.  Its groove is melodically enticing, soothing on the ear and uncompromising on the waistline's all round agenda. Every woman will love No Pressure, according to Team SASS!

Online, the Buzz has been wild for Nadia Batson. In 2011, she told the media that she was doing everything for the people of Trinidad and Tobago. She'd performed twice at the International Soca Monarch Competition with fellow artistes, Tallpree of Grenada and Patrice Roberts of the HD Family, and even then, a very humble, low-key Batson, told reporters that it wasn't about winning- it was about doing the best that she could.

2012 is proving to however be a different dynamic. In the season ahead, Nadia will prove herself further- being the first bandleader of an all-female soca band out of Trinidad and Tobago. She's on a natural high and her music is proof enough. No Pressure has been released to radio stations across the length and breadth of T&T and overseas. She's hoping that with the help of her loyal supporters, this track- 'her pet track'- will be as huge as recent releases. This is Batson's fourth release for the season. It follows her hits, Whey Yuh Want with Lyrikal, Hard Pong with Raymond Ramnarine and Shiver on the Antilles riddim.

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. August 22, 2011----- Nobody could possibly understand the excitement happening within camp Batson as it’s being called these days. Phone calls, emails and social networking interactions are keeping Nadia Batson very busy as she continues on her journey to creating the first ever all female soca band. She says she’s been inundated by correspondence from interested photographers, clothing, hair and makeup stylists and even personal assistants who want to be a part of the gig.

With a smile Nadie B’s taking each day as it comes, aggressively putting together her band of women, all of whom she’s fondly expressed satisfaction with. “ My ladies are great!” “ My girls SOCA!!!, ” she laughed. It’s Nadia’s way of indicating that her girls are hot in their very own Caribbean genre. It’s been a beautifully crazy ride so far.

Rehearsals started with the band members upon Batson’s return from Toronto in early August and since that time, the Caribbean Girl songstress has expressed a very high level of satisfaction via Twitter, Facebook and other social networking mediums. Admitting that the task is no easy one, Batson says she’s currently ensuring that the girls are glammed up in time for a launch in November. Musically, she says she has no big problems, as the ladies are all incredibly talented and know their stuff.

With a lot happening on the financial front in T&T right now, Batson is bent on reassuring corporate entities, promoters and supporters in general, that what she’s about to bring to the market is certainly worth their dollar. Her team understands the state of the international economy and how that translates locally when it comes to budgeting so she’s working even harder to guarantee a top-notch product ahead of C2K12. Her assurance to everyone is quite simple, “ There has never been anything like this in Soca. This will be the biggest thing in 2012-I assure you. We’re coming with glam, vibes, motion and real entertainment from the start to the finish of each set. You’ve gotta make us one of your top picks when it comes to soca bands this coming carnival.”

Nadia Batson To Make TT History With All Female Band

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. July 15, 2011------ There’s been nothing like it in Trinidad and Tobago. It’s an idea that’s fresh and filled with possibility. It has started off with one
Caribbean songstress and promises to unleash some eight to 10 beautiful and talented female musicians onto the music scene. Nadia Batson is the woman behind it all.

Come 2012, Carnival island will see the emergence of it’s first ever all-female soca band and according to Batson, the energy will be electrifying. The plunge, while somewhat daring comes at the right time, according to the Caribbean Girl vocalist.
Her idea?... to shake things up a bit, create a stir and showcase women in a way they’ve never quite been seen before. She wants to create a one of a kind product within the realm of T&T’s entertainment tradition and she’s going to use feminine appeal to do it just how she envisions. “ I’m about to launch a new band, with a new sound- fully powered by women!,” she laughed,
but Nadia is not kidding.

The recent circulation of news that a top entertainer out of Trinidad and Tobago was scouting for female talent in the form of vocalists, dancers and instrumentalists, came from Batson’s camp. On July 17, the final leg of auditions for all three categories of artisans takes place at the
Ken Galt room, Centre of Excellence in Trinidad.
According to Batson, the response has been tremendous. Her excitement is real and her ambitions are plenty as she looks forward to establishing a group of young, dynamic, impressionable women who are talented and are willing to share their talents with the world. “ This is not about Nadia Batson,” she said, “ It’s about showcasing a group of women who can thrill audiences with their talent, their
eccentricity and charisma. I want the members of this group to all be known and I want us all
to share the spotlight,” she said excitedly.

Even as auditions continue, Batson has already announced that the women of her new band,
whoever they will be- will be catered to by local and international stylists to ensure that every
stage appearance is mind blowing, creative and adds value to the show. Her aim is to offer a
top-notch stage production filled with creative dynamism, all with a touch of feminine appeal.
She says she believes this has been missing somewhat, and promises that she will be the first to
bring entertainment of this nature, to the stages of carnival events come 2012.

Batson said she will continue to fulfill all previously booked commitments with Kes The Band
and while she acknowledged the greatness of being a part of the group, she said she’s
confident that she can inspire a fresh sense of Caribbean flair to the region’s music circuit.

Information on the auditions carded for this Sunday, July 17, can be obtained by emailing
